Comprehensive Vein Treatment Center

The Comprehensive Vein Treatment Center offers many different therapies to correct vein problems.

All patients at CVTC are treated by board certified surgeon using the most modern, high-tech methods for the treatment of varicose and spider veins, in addition to all other venous diseases.

Spider veins are thread-like veins dilated with excess blood. Not only are these veins undesirable, but they also cause pain, itching, burning, bleeding and sometimes cause ulcerations. Varicose veins are large distended veins that have ceased to function properly. If left untreated, these veins will eventually lead to ulceration, eczema of the skin and bleeding.

Varicose and spider veins are usually caused by insufficient valves. Pregnancy, hormonal changes and injury can also aggravate these conditions. The majority of patients who have superficial venous insufficiency are also found to have deep venous valvular insufficiency. Treatment of superficial veins improves deep venous valvular insufficiency.

The Center uses noninvasive or minimally-invasive techniques to treat vein problems, including laser. To determine an appropriate treatment for each patient, the physician will gather a complete medical history and perform a thorough physical examination of your legs. An ultrasound evaluation of the legs is performed, looking at the venous system, the physicians will determine the exact underlying problems causing the patient to have spider and varicose veins.
